The boats of the Puffin series have a sleek shape and a sporty performance. You can see from the way the Puffin looks that they have adopted some design features from the Quest series. The deck overlaps at bow and stern, the pointed nose and the overall slightly slimmer and longer hull provide a fresh look.

The Puffins have also “learned” from the Quests in terms of construction technology. In the new models the gunwales are clamped similarly into the skin as with the Quests. This increases the stiffness of the boats, which in turn is beneficial to the sailing characteristics. The anodised, stainless aluminium rods have been tried and tested over years. The underwater hull is made of black PU (polyurethane) and is not only robust, but also lightweight. The bottom is reinforced and has a keel strip. The comfortable seat construction is easily installed—as is the entire boat structure, which is quick and easy to assemble.

The Puffin Saco weighs just 9.2 kg with a length of 3.85 m. On the water, Puffin Saco is fast and reactive. The optional self-supporting canopy and the possibility of attaching a spray apron to it ensure a dry cockpit if required. The Saco is intended for leisure use.
